Care Guide

All NUGAIA models are crafted from natural leather — including the upper, insole, and outsole. To preserve their shape, color, and comfort, we recommend following these basic care instructions.

General care:

- Clean manually with a soft brush or cloth.
- Avoid contact with water, household chemicals, or abrasive products.
- Do not wash. Do not dry on heaters or in direct sunlight.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
- Use wooden shoe trees or paper stuffing to maintain the shape.

Smooth leather:

- For daily care — use a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth.
- For deeper cleaning — apply products designed for natural leather.
- Every few months, condition with natural shoe cream to nourish the leather.

Suede:

- Brush gently with a dedicated suede brush (no water).
- Use suede-specific cleaners to remove stains.
- You may apply a protective spray to reduce the risk of water marks or stains.

Outsole:

- The leather outsole adapts to your gait and becomes more flexible over time — a natural part of the barefoot principle.
- To ensure durability, avoid frequent exposure to wet surfaces.
